For women, a waist circumference of 80cm or more would indicate increased risk of obesity-related health problems and a circumference of 88cm plus shows a substantially increased risk.

A waist circumference of 94cm or more for men indicates increased risk of obesity-related health problems and a circumference of 102cm plus means a substantially increased risk.
